Mike McCarthy, Packers Reportedly Agreed to Contract Extension Through 2019

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is reportedly expected to return for the 2018 NFL season after agreeing to a one-year extension during the regular season.

Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com provided the update Tuesday, noting the contract runs through 2019, which should give the organization “stability” in the top coaching role.

McCarthy has compiled a 121-70-1 regular-season record since taking over as the Packers’ coach ahead of the 2006 campaign. He’s also posted a 10-8 postseason mark,…
