MADISON – Wisconsin coach Greg Gard and his players, as expected, will have to share the Big Ten regular-season title.

Maryland (24-7 14-6 Big Ten) secured a share of the title Sunday with an 83-70 victory over visiting Michigan.

However, the Terrapins’ victory assured UW (21-10, 14-6) will be seeded No. 1 for the Big Ten tournament set to begin Wednesday in Indianapolis.
