I never wanted to see him go. 

Casey Hayward, Jr. proved that he was a very good cornerback in Green Bay, but ended up signing a three-year, $15.3 million free agent deal with the Chargers in 2016. 

In 2014, Hayward had a higher coverage grade than Darrelle Revis — good for fifth in the league. He was a solid player that complemented a defense very well. 

Now it’s time to bring him back to Green Bay. Atlanta just released the 33-year-old as a cap-saving move. The Packers could use that leadership in the back of…
