Mike Hastings gets 300th career win in first game as Wisconsin men’s hockey coach

MADISON – The Mike Hastings era of Wisconsin hockey started on a high note.

Freshman forward Quinn Finley scored twice in a 4-0 victory over Augustana (South Dakota) that was played in front of 5,703 people at the Kohl Center on Saturday night. Three UW players scored goals and seven scored a point in the matchup that gave Hastings not only his first win as Badgers coach but win No. 300 of his career.
