Heading into Friday night’s matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers, eight games had passed since the Cincinnati Reds had won a game and beat the over/under. Even with five backups in the lineup Friday, the Reds scored eight runs, broke a three-game losing streak and took the first game of the series in Milwaukee.
