The Brewers have parted ways with reliever Brad Boxberger – at least for now

Brad Boxberger was as steady as it gets out of the bullpen the last two seasons for the Milwaukee Brewers.

But with Boxberger entering his age 35 season in 2023 (May 27) and due $3 million, the team on Thursday chose to part ways for now with the right-hander by declining his team option.

He will instead receive a $750,000 buyout but the potential remains for yet another reunion between the two parties should free agency not work…
